Pulaski County Fire Commission consists of 18 departments,

  • 15 volunteer departments,
  • 1 Special Response Team
  • 1 Pulaski County Rescue Squad
  • 1 Paid Fire Department

We offer fire protection,  all types of rescue including auto extrication, high angle (rope rescue), cave rescue, swift water rescue, confined spaces rescue, and we also have a hazmat team.

The Fire Commission offers a regional fire school every year in the spring. We also hold a recruit class for 150 hour and 400 hour certifications

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer with Pulaski County you can contact us through the website, call the office (606-679-7075) or contact the department that's in your district. One more option to volunteer is with the Pulaski Co. Rescue Squad or Somerset Pulaski Co. Special Response Team (Hazmat Team) and both of these are a county wide program
